Our quiet country bed & breakfast, located on the south shore of Lake Superior, is just minutes from Bayfield, Wisconsin and is the perfect place to relax, reflect and enjoy the pristine beauty of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Beautifully restored in 2004, the Apple Grove Inn was once owned by renowned, rural Wisconsin artist, John Black and his wife Ruby who operated it as a dairy and strawberry farm for over 40 years. Enjoy the fruits, berries and vegetables, grown organically in our own orchard for your breakfast each morning and watch the bluebirds feed in the morning sun. Be inspired by the lovely vistas of Lake Superior from our front porch, gazebo and beautiful perennial gardens. As a Wisconsin certified Travel Green business, we are committed to preserving the environment, and are proud to let our guests know that we reuse, recycle and buy local whenever possible.

Each of our four rooms is distinctively decorated with Bayfield antiquities and all have private baths, cable TV, electric fireplaces, complimentary guest robes, wine glasses, CD/clock radios, and a shared guest refrigerator. Central A/C and wireless internet are accessible throughout the Inn.”
